(meteorology)
Spanish nautical term for east wind, specifically the hot, dry, dusty easterly or southeasterly wind which blows from the Atlantic coast of Morocco out to Madeira and the Canary Islands; it is a form of sirocco, occurring in front of depressions advancing eastward.

In this article we report details surrounding the addition of the dragonfly Arigomphus lentulus (Stillwater Clubtail) and damselfly Lestes forficula (Rainpool Spreadwing) to the Mississippi fauna, which brings the total Anisoptera (dragonflies) to 94 spp.
