Lestinae
Agriidae, a subfamily of damsel flies (Zygoptera). There are about 100 species of Lestinae, found on all continents; in the USSR there are seven species, all of the genera Lestes and Sympycna. Lestinae feed on insects. They lay their eggs in the stems of aquatic plants. The larvae, which live in the water, have three caudal tracheal gills. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
