Lidice (lĭ`dyĭtsĕ), village, NW Czech Republic, in Bohemia. In reprisal for the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich Heydrich, Reinhard (rīn`härt hī`drĭkh), 1904–42, German police official under the Nazi regime. .....
