Location: Off Meadowbrook State Parkway in Long Island, New York. Special Features: The area is almost entirely tidal wetland, where shorebird and wading bird diversity is high. Wintering waterfowl such a black ducks and Atlantic brant make good use of the wetland. Access: Open to public use by special use permit; contact refuge.
