Lincoln State Park Location: Along State Road 162 south of Lincoln City. Facilities: 150 campsites with electrical hookups, 120 primitive campsites, youth tent camping areas, flush toilets, showers, group camp, 15 camping cottages, 10 family cabins, picnic areas with playgrounds, playfields, and toilet facilities, 5 shelters, hiking trails, swimming beach, beach bathhouse, general store, boat rentals (rowboats, paddleboats, canoes), boat launch ramp, historic home, amphitheater, nature preserve, nature center, naturalist services. Activities: Camping, swimming, fishing, boating (electric motors only), canoeing, hiking, interpretive programs. Special Features: During the summer season, the story of Abraham Lincoln is presented in the park's 1,500-seat outdoor amphitheater. The adjacent Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial (see entry in national parks section) features a working pioneer farm, the Lincoln cabin site, family cemetery, and the Historic Trail of Stones honoring major events in the Lincoln family history. The historic home of Colonel Jones, a merchant who employed Lincoln, is located at Lincoln State Park.
