Linde process [′lin·də ‚prä‚ses]
(cryogenics)
A cyclic process for liquefying gases in which compressed gas is cooled by Joule-Thomson expansion through a valve to a pressure of about 40 atmospheres (4 megapascals), further cools the incoming gas in a heat exchanger, and is compressed for the next cycle.

BMV and NYSE: ICA) and Fluor Corporation (NYSE: FLR), today announced that Pemex Gas y Petroquimica Basica has awarded a project to a consortium of ICA Fluor and Linde Process Plants for the construction of a cryogenic plant at the Poza Rica Gas Processing Complex in the State of Veracruz.
The plant, which is expected to begin operating in 2010, is being engineered, built and installed by Linde Process Plants, the Tulsa, Oklahoma-based subsidiary of Linde Engineering, a division of The Linde Group and one of the world's largest producers of hydrogen and hydrogen plants.
