linear polarization [′lin·ē·ər ‚pō·lə·rə′zā·shən]
(optics)
Polarization of an electromagnetic wave in which the electric vector at a fixed point in space remains pointing in a fixed direction, although varying in magnitude. Also known as plane polarization.

The study was carried out using electrochemical methods such as cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic for electrodeposition, while anodic linear polarization resistance and anodic linear sweeping voltammetry techniques were used for the corrosion study.
