link contract
An XML document that describes a bi-directional data exchange between XDI data. Among other stipulations, a link contract can include how parties prove their identity, how updates are handled, who can use the data and how the data can be used. The link contract is stored on the XDI server at each end of the relationship. See XDI.

SINCE starting to operate the Business Link contract for North East England in April 2007, Business & Enterprise North East (BE-NE) has worked closely with the region''s business community, providing a cohesive, consistent and relevant portfolio of business support and enterprise services.
The Station Link contract will be reviewed at Easter-time with a view to either being renewed or discontinued on the first anniversary of its inception in the summer.
As part of the agreement we have made detailed plans with the coalition to ensure that by March 2007, when the four current Business Link contracts come to an end, everything is in place for a smooth transition to the new regional service.
