Litvínov
a city in northern Czechoslovakia, in the Czech Socialist Republic, North Bohemia. Population, 23,000 (1971). Litvinov is a railroad junction. It is an industrial center of the North Bohemia Coal Basin. A large petrochemical combine is located nearby (in Zaluží); there is also textile industry.
