Llanquihue

a lake in south central Chile, lying in Valle Longitudinal along the western slopes of the Andes at an elevation of 51 m. The lake has an approximate area of 740 sq km and a maximum depth of 108 m. The Calbuco and Osorno volcanoes rise over Lake Llanquihue to the east. The lava flow from Osorno separated Lake Todos los Santos from Lake Llanquihue. The lake flows into the Pacific Ocean through the Maullin River. Lake Llanquihue is a tourist center.
