Lo Ho
(also Ilo Ho), a river in China; a right tributary of the Huang Ho. Length, 421 km; basin area, 19,200 sq km. Rising on the northern slopes of the Tsinling Mountains, it flows along the North China Plain in its lower course. The Lo Ho is fed primarily by rain; the summer brings flooding. The average discharge near the mouth is 102 cu m per sec, with average water turbidity of 7.1 kg per cu m. The city of Loyang is on the lower course. Lo Ho (also Peilo Ho), a river in China, a left tributary of the Wei Ho (Huang Ho basin). Length, approximately 500 km; basin area, approximately 30,000 sq km. It flows along the Loess Plateau in a deep valley. The average discharge near the mouth is 26 cu m per sec.
