LoadRunner

A load testing tool from Mercury Interactive Corporation, Mountain View, CA (www.mercury.com). It simulates thousands of users interacting online in order to test how well a system stands up under a heavy load. In late 2006, HP acquired Mercury for its business enterprise products in what it called its largest software acquisition ever.
