Owner/Developer, the United Nations Federal Credit Union (UNFCU), New York City's largest credit union, announced the opening of its new headquarters in Court Square Place, Long Island City, Queens. On the morning of June 23, some 150 people (the ranks would swell to 300), several dogs a horse, three modern masterworks (in replica, of course), and one Kiki Smith borne aloft by the throng, marched across the Queensboro Bridge Organized in cooperation with the Museum of Modern Art and the Public Art Fund, Francis Alys's The Modern Procession marked MOMA'S temporary move from its Manhattan base to Long Island City, Queens. The exhibition is on view through September 27, 2004 at MoMA's temporary exhibition facility in Long Island City, Queens, New York. |
