Lost Creek State Park Location: 1.5 miles east of Anaconda on Montana 1, then 2 miles north on Secondary 273, then 6 miles west. Facilities: 25 campsites, picnic area, interpretive trail, information kiosk. Activities: Camping, fishing, hiking, wildlife viewing. Special Features: Spectacular gray limestone cliffs and pink and white granite formations rise 1,200 feet above the canyon's narrow floor. A short trail leads to Lost Creek Falls, where water cascades over a 50-foot drop. Mountain goats and bighorn sheep are frequently seen on the cliffs above. Park is open May 1 through November 30.
