Lulea

Luleå 

a city and port in northern Sweden, on islands at the mouth of the Lulealven, on the Gulf of Bothnia. Administrative center of Norrbotten Ian (county). Population, 58,900 (1971). It is a transportation junction; iron ore from Lapland (Kiruna-Gallivare) is exported. Among its industries are ferrous metallurgy and machine building (including shipbuilding), and sawtimber and cellulose are produced. Lulea has museums, including one with a collection on Lapp ethnology. The city was founded in 1621.

Sherif compiled a textbook for an undergraduate course for final-year undergraduate students of metallurgy, materials science, or engineering materials, drawing on lectures they originally delivered at Lulea University, Sweden.
Although slightly scorched and distressed, Lulea is now thought to be making a full recovery but will probably be staying clear of any table lamps in the near future.
Lulea & the Province of Norrbotten North of Pitea by 55 km (34 miles) and 150 km (93 miles) south of the Arctic Circle, you will find Lulea, the northernmost of Sweden's major cities, with 71,000 inhabitants.
