The probe was labeled with horseradish peroxidase, exposed in the presence of luminol to Hyperfilm-ECL as outlined by the manufacturer (Amersham). Similarly, a man-made chemical, luminol, creates the cool light found in glow sticks when it reacts with oxygen. |
