Lutetia, Lutetia Parisiorum
an ancient name for Paris (the French city)

Lutetia 

(or Lutecia), an ancient settlement of the Parisii on the site of present-day Paris, on the He de la Cite. After the Roman conquest of Gaul in the mid-first century B.C., Lutetia became an important commercial city. It came to be called Parisii in the third century.
