Luvians (Luwians)
tribes inhabiting Asia Minor at the end of the third millennium B.C., along with the related Hittites and Palaic-speaking peoples. In the second and first millennia B.C. they settled in southern Asia Minor, mainly in the country of Luvia, and in northern Syria. They became Hellenized at the end of the first millennium B.C.
