Lyman Lake State Park Location: 11 miles south of Saint Johns on US 191. Facilities: 61 campsites (38 hookup, 23 non-hookup), showers, restrooms, 6 cabins, 4 yurts, group-use area, picnic areas, picnic shelters, snack bar, nature trails, boat ramps, boat rentals, camp store, horshoe pits, volleyball court (é). Activities: Camping, boating, canoeing, fishing, swimming, water-skiing, hiking, rock hounding, interpretive programs. Special Features: Lyman Lake is a 1,500-acre reservoir on the Little Colorado River. Because of its size, the lake is one of the few bodies of water in northeastern Arizona with no size restrictions on boats. During the summer months, interpretive programs include ranger-guided tours of a petroglyph trail.
