Lynwood, city (1990 pop. 61,945), Los Angeles co., S Calif., a suburb of Los Angeles; founded 1896, inc. 1921. Although it is primarily residential, Lynwood has printing presses and varied light manufacturing, including transortation equipment, furniture, and metal products.
