Montsame

the Mongolian telegraph agency. Founded in 1957 in Ulan Bator, Montsame is part of the State Committee on Information, Radio, and Television of the Council of Ministers of the Mongolian People’s Republic. It supplies the country’s press, radio, and television with information on domestic and international affairs. It also publishes the biweekly newspaper Novosti Mongolii (Mongolian News) in Russian and Chinese and a weekly information bulletin in English and French. Montsame has concluded agreements on cooperation with agencies of other socialist countries.
