MSSP

(1) (MultiService Switching Platform) A high-end Cisco router that supports high-speed optical connections in the core of the network. See MSPP and MSTP.

(2) (Managed Security Service Provider) An Internet service provider that monitors a customer's network in real time for intrusions and attacks.
