You can view the overall look of long documents before you print them by selecting File/Print Preview. While in Print Preview mode, you can change the margins and tabs and watch the text flow from page to page as you make changes. Getting Out of Print Preview To exit Print Preview mode, press Esc or click the CLOSE button on the Word toolbar. Working in Print Preview Mode When you switch to Print Preview mode and click on the page, the cursor changes to a magnifying glass. Clicking the page alternately zooms in and out of your document. To switch to edit mode, click the Magnifier button and the cursor changes to an I-bar symbol (text pointer) so you can make changes.
