Makhindzhauri

an urban-type settlement in Khelvachauri Raion, Adzhar ASSR, on the Black Sea. The settlement has a railroad station 6 km from Batumi. Makhindzhauri is a seaside climatic and balneological health resort. Treatments include climatotherapy and bathing in the slightly hydrosulfuric water of a sodium chloride and hydrocarbonate spring.
