Born Mar. 18, 1876; died November 1918. Provocateur, secret agent of the tsarist Okhranka (secret political police) in the Social Democratic movement. A metalworker. Worked in St. Petersburg and then in Moscow from 1906 to 1910. Secretary of the board of the union of metalworkers. Starting in 1907, Malinovskii voluntarily gave information to the police. In 1910 he became a secret agent of the Okhranka. He was elected a member of the Central Committee at the Sixth (Prague) Conference of the RSDLP (1912). In 1912 he was elected a deputy to the fourth State Duma from the workers’ curia of Moscow Province; from 1913 he was chairman of the Duma group of Bolsheviks.
