Malkhanskii
a mountain range in the southern part of Transbaikalia (Buriat ASSR and Chita Oblast, RSFSR). It is about 250 km long, and the average heights are 1,200-1,300 m (the highest point is 1,735 m). The range is composed chiefly of granodiorite, granite, and shale. It is characterized by flat peaks.
