Malmyzh

 

a city; the center of Malmyzh Raion, Kirov Oblast, RSFSR. It is located on the right bank of the Shoshma River (a tributary of the Viatka River), 57 km northwest of the Viatskie Poliany railroad station (on the Kazan’-Agryz line) and 303 km southeast of Kirov. The city’s industries include a mechanical repair shop, a cannery, a brewery, a reinforced concrete plant, and a small industries combine. A museum of local lore is located in Malmyzh.

Fortress Minerals Corporation (Fortress Minerals) (TSX: FST), a Canada-based gold exploration company, has announced that the LF-90 core drill and all support equipment and personnel are en route to the Malmyzh and Limonite projects in the Russian Far East.
The company plans to complete a 6,000 metre first-pass drilling programme at the Limonite and Malmyzh copper and copper-gold projects from early November and conclude it in March 2010.
