Manawatu River

Manawatu River

River, south-central North Island, New Zealand. The Manawatu flows northwest to pass between the Ruahine and Tararua ranges. It then runs southwest past Palmerston North to enter the South Taranaki Bight of the Tasman Sea. It is 113 mi (182 km) long.
