Mandal (män`däl), town (1995 pop. 12,921), Vest-Agder co., extreme S Norway, on the Skagerrak. A renowned seaport in the 17th cent., it is now a small trading and shipping center, known for its remarkable beach and for its 18th-century patrician houses.

Thanks to their blunder, Digambar Mandal has been suffering pain in the fractured finger for over one- and- a- half months.
When Jasbir Kaur, 62, of Khanpur Koliya village in Thanesar block, Kurukshetra district, Haryana, was elected the Mahila Mandal Pradhan (leader of the community-based women's organisation) in 2006, her son Balbir was happy for her but not surprised.
Under the banner of the Mahila Mandal (women's organisation), the campaign aims to root out all social evils to motivate local youth to kick the drugs habit.
