Marne-Saôme Canal 

a shipping canal in France, linking the Seine and Rhone rivers via their tributaries—the Marne and Saône. The canal is 230 km long, extending from Vitry-le-François to Pontailler-sur-Saône. It is accessible to ships with a freight-carrying capacity of up to 300 tons. Freight turnover is approximately 500,000 to 700,000 tons per year (mostly building materials).
