Facilities: Historic buildings, museum, exhibits, restrooms, picnic areas, hiking trails, nature trails (é). Activities: Interpretive programs, living history demonstrations, guided tours, fishing, hiking, gold panning. Special Features: Park encompasses most of the historic town of Coloma, where James Marshall's discovery of gold in 1848 was the start of the famous California Gold Rush.
