Martin, Homer (Dodge) (1836–97) painter; born in Albany, N.Y. He moved to New York City (1862), traveled in England (1876) and France (1881–86), and settled in St. Paul, Minn. He is known for his impressionistic landscapes, such as Honfleur Light (1892).
