Martinsville

Martinsville, city (1990 pop. 16,162), seat of Henry co., S Va., in the Blue Ridge foothills near the N.C. line; founded 1793, inc. as a city 1928. Tobacco is processed, and furniture, prefabricated homes, textiles, clothing, wood and plastic products, machinery, chemicals, and transportation equipment are manufactured.

Summer Lines is an anthology of poetry published in celebration of the ten-year anniversary of the annual poetry readings conducted in the Jackson Memorial Library in the coastal village of Tenants Harbor, Maine (later moved to the Oceanview Grange in Martinsville to accommodate its increasing popularity).
Obviously, I don't think he wants to get started off on the same foot that David Regan got started off on at Martinsville and running into everything on the race track and spinning out and causing half the cautions that the race had.
Federal and state authorities are investigating the alleged fraud, which involves about 100 people in the Martinsville, Va.
