Mathcad
Mathematical software for PCs and Macs from Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC), Needham, MA (www.ptc.com). Used extensively for engineering calculations, Mathcad allows complicated mathematical equations to be expressed, performed and displayed. The program works hand in hand with PTC's flagship Pro/ENGINEER product and was acquired from Mathcad's original developer, Mathsoft Engineering & Education, Inc. in 2006.

Mathcad makes available two Fourier transform pairs: FFT/ IFFT and CFFT/ICFFT.
The book includes numerous examples and uses MATHCAD to generate all of the figures and many solutions to equations.
Optical Solutions uses Mathcad from Mathsoft Engineering and Education and Inc.
