Matorins
(Motorins). A family of Russian metal foundry masters. Ivan Fedorovich Matorin was born circa 1660 and died in 1735. The birth date of his son, Mikhail Ivanovich, is unknown; he died in 1750. Ivan Matorin was first known as an experienced master in 1687; from 1701 to 1704 he made 113 guns and many large bells for Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kiev, Staraia Russa, and other cities.
