Matorins 

(Motorins). A family of Russian metal foundry masters. Ivan Fedorovich Matorin was born circa 1660 and died in 1735. The birth date of his son, Mikhail Ivanovich, is unknown; he died in 1750.

Ivan Matorin was first known as an experienced master in 1687; from 1701 to 1704 he made 113 guns and many large bells for Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kiev, Staraia Russa, and other cities. In 1735 the Matorins cast the famous Tsar Bell for the Ivan the Great bell tower in the Moscow Kremlin.
