Matsudo (mäts`dō), city (1990 pop. 456,210), Chiba prefecture, E central Honshu, Japan. A suburb of Tokyo, it has several ironworks factories.
Matsudo 

a satellite city of Tokyo, in Japan. It is situated on Honshu Island, in Chiba Prefecture, on the Edo River. Population, 253,600 (1970).
