McIntosh
Often a misspelling for Apple's Mac computers, but may refer to McIntosh Laboratory, Inc., Binghamton, NY (www.mcintoshlabs.com), makers of high-end hi-fi equipment. Founded in 1949 by Frank McIntosh, after more than 60 years in business, McIntosh gear is coveted by audiophiles worldwide. See Macintosh.
