Medina del Campo (māthē`nä thĕl käm`pō), town (1990 pop. 19,965), Valladolid prov., central Spain, in Castile-León. It is a communications center and agricultural market with food-processing industries. The town was almost completely destroyed by fire in the 16th cent. Medina del Campo was the favorite residence of Queen Isabella I.
