Melete

(religion, spiritualism, and occult)

Melete, asteroid 56 (the 56th asteroid to be discovered, on September 9, 1857), is approximately 144 kilometers in diameter and has an orbital period of 4.2 years. Its name is derived from the Greek word for care or anxiety. The location of Melete by sign and house indicates a source of anxiety. When prominent in a natal chart, Melete may indicate a native overburdened by cares.
