Mendenhall, Dorothy (b. Reed) (1874–1964) physician; born in Columbus, Ohio. A dedicated researcher and physician, she is best known for her early research on Hodgkin's disease and contributions to maternal and child health care while a medical officer at the United States Children's Bureau (1917–36).
