Though no one puts a foot wrong in this version, the only stand-out performance comes from Gyuri Sarossy as the dangerous dandy Mercutio.
And of course Gyuri Rossi relishes the play's most engaging but frustratingly truncated role, Mercutio.
Mercutio and Romeo both had opportunities to finish off their respective adversaries well before the scripted outcome.
