Facilities: 218 campsites (28 with electrical hookups), modern restrooms as well as latrines, showers, picnic areas, 8 picnic shelters, concession (restaurant, rentals), boat rentals, 5 boat ramps, 2 fish cleaning stations.
Activities: Camping, boating (all types), fishing, wildlife viewing.
Special Features: Located in a narrow valley of the Snake River, the reservoir offers some of Nebraska's premiere fishing. Adjacent is McKelvie National Forest, with thousands of acres for hunting and hiking. Other nearby attractions include Valentine National Wildlife Refuge, Snake River Falls, the Valentine State Fish Hatchery, and Fort Niobrara Wildlife Refuge.
