Metallurg 

(Metallurgist), a monthly industrial and popular publication of the Ministry of Ferrous Metallurgy of the USSR and the Central Committee of the Trade Union of Metallurgical Workers. Published in Moscow since 1956. An English translation is published in the USA.

Metallurg deals with problems of the adoption of new methods and advanced technology, mechanization and automation of production, modernization of equipment, and increase of labor productivity. It publishes items on the leading production workers in ferrous metallurgy production, on economics and safety technology in the field, and on the activity of creative associations. Circulation, 23,000 (1974).
