Meteorologicheskii Ezhemesiachnik
(Meteorological Monthly), a publication containing data obtained from observations of weather stations and posts from any country or part there of during a given month. In Russia the Meteorologicheskii ezhemesiachnik was first published by the Main Physical Observatory in 1892. In the USSR the Meteorologicheskii ezhemesiachnik has been regularly published by the Hydrometeorological Service of the USSR since 1958. The journal presents information on mean daily and mean monthly temperatures and maximal and minimal values of the air temperature, the minimum relative humidity, quantity of precipitation, wind direction and speed by day and month, the presence and duration of atmospheric phenomena by day and month, and the characteristics of the cloud cover and duration of periods of sunshine.
