Mezhgor’e

an urban-type settlement, the administrative center of Mezhgor’e Raion, Transcarpathian Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Located on the Rika River (a tributary of the Tisa River) 40 km from the Volovets railroad station (on the Stryi-Batevo line). A lumber combine, a fruit juice and wine plant, and other enterprises are located there. Mezhgor’e has a medical school and tourist facilities.
