A Web browser from Microsoft that is part of Windows 10. Code named Spartan, Edge supersedes the venerable Internet Explorer (IE) introduced with Windows 98, although IE will remain for some time. With the capability of marking up a Web page with a stylus and the integration of a virtual assistant (see Cortana) and Microsoft's cloud storage (see OneDrive), Edge becomes the default browser on PCs, Xbox and Windows Phone.
