Migratory Bird 

a bird that makes rather long annual flights from its nesting grounds to wintering grounds and back again. Nomadic birds winter in an ecologically favorable region that is close to their nesting grounds. Some birds live in the same habitat year-round. The majority of birds in the USSR are migratory.
