Bondariuk, Mikhail Makarovich 

Born Nov. 15 (28), 1908, in Moscow; died there on Oct. 14, 1969. Soviet scientist and designer of ramjet engines. Member of the CPSU from 1939.

Bondariuk graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute (1930). He became a doctor of technical sciences (1960); from 1955, Bondariuk was a professor at the Moscow Aviation Institute. He was the author of treatises and textbooks on ramjet engines. Bondariuk’s developments have been produced commercially. He was awarded four orders in addition to medals.
