Born 1901. Yugoslav lawyer. Specialist in international law. Professor at the University of Belgrade. Vice-president of the Serbian Academy of Arts and Sciences. Member of the International Law Commission of the UN and the Permanent Court of Arbitration at The Hague.
Bartoš’s main works, which are in international public and private law, include The Law of International Trade (1927), International Private Law (1932), The Principles of International Law (1936), The Legal Status of Foreigners (1947), Credit and Check Law (1953), and The Legal Status of Foreign Enterprises in Yugoslavia (1956), as well as a course on international law (1954–58).
