Millers Pond State Park Reserve Location: Off of Foothills Road in Durham. Facilities: Park is a designated walk-in facility, with gravel parking at the main gate and pit toilets. Activities: Hiking, fishing. Special Features: Park is located in Cockaponsett State Forest. Millers Pond is unique in that its principal source of water comes from large springs which create a body of unpolluted water. The original dam at the pond was erected some time before 1704.
